Scala Radio

Classical music radio station, launched in 2019.

Bauer Media identified a growing number of people exploring classical music not served by a radio station that really spoke to them. In order to communicate the difference that Scala Radio brings, it was crucial to develop a unique brand strategy and clear brand positioning. The target audience was identified as people who listen to all sorts of music – classical among them – who want a classical radio station that’s not stuffy and educational but interesting and informative, presented by people who entertain.
This finding led to the tagline 'Classical Music. Modern Life', which inspired the look of the brand identity and launch campaign imagery and graphics.
